My life has always centered around sports in some shape or fashion. When I graduated from college I knew I wanted a career in sports. Work environment is something I consider pivotal in any job and the experience with the Thunder has been top notch. Working games is very busy and exciting. Talking to different accounts in their seats, delivering gifts to their kids or surprising people with upgraded seats, prizes or special treats is all part of my game night and developing strong relationships with fans really encapsulates the Thunder experience. For employees, the company cultivates a great culture with great events that really make employees feel special and bring fun to the workplace.

Since the first day I stepped into this office I have felt welcomed. Being a member of the Thunder staff means becoming part of a team I am surrounded by coworkers who are rooting for me to be my best and management that encourages learning and growth. Its an excellent balance of hard work and fun. In my position, I get to interact with our fans on a regular basis and every time I am amazed by the passion this city has for the team. It is an honor to help fans create lifelong memories through the fun and excitement that is Thunder basketball. Last December, in our game against the LA Clippers, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hit a buzzer-beating shot to win the game. The building was electric, fans cheering and embracing each other, the team jumping with joy, and in the middle of it all were my clients sitting courtside. It was a spectacular moment to witness and even sweeter knowing I had helped create that moment for them.

Working for the Thunder keeps you on your toes - expect the unexpected. The precise preparation that goes into the Events & Entertainment department is what keeps us up to date with everyday operations, but working in sports is all about how you react and adapt to changes to your surroundings and being willing to learn along the way.
