The Lakers point guard claims his former friend has made alleged terrorist threats towards Nunn and attempted to extort the player in addition to threatening his family. The man has been identified as Miles Harrison.

In documents obtained by The Blast, Kendrick Nunn is asking a judge to grant an order of protection against his friend to stay 300 yards away from himself, his partner Blen Mekonnen, and his two children. Kendrick says his family needs protection because of threats Miles has made I fear he could harm me and my family.

The incident allegedly took place on October 15 of this year. Miles has since been arrested and charged.

The athlete via his legal team will not stand for his family or himself feeling unsafe and is taking the necessary actions to continue life as normal. Miles was officially charged almost a week later on October 21 his charges include, three counts: stalking, making criminal threats, and extortion.

Miles plead not guilty to the charges and his preliminary hearing is set for December 12 just ahead of the holidays.

In addition to Nunn wanting Miles to stay away from him and his family, he also asks the judge to keep his former friend away from his home and workplace. Nunn also made it clear that he isnt sure if Miles has any firearms, an obvious fear of his. Luckily for Nunn and his family, Miles is currently in custody.

As we mentioned, Nunn is demanding that Miles not be able to come on his property or near his place of work his place of work is wherever the popular basketball team is located. Does this mean, if Miles got the chance, he wouldnt be able to attend as long as this order of protection is in place?

Thats what it sounds like! What a way to screw yourself. The team obviously travels for work and makes an appearance in that capacity as well so it will be interesting to see something like that play out.

Nunn is more concerned with the safety of his girlfriend Blen and his children. He and Blen have been together for just over a year now and things seem to be going well. She is regularly seen attending his games to cheer him on.

Nunns two children, one from a previous relationship that made him a single, full-time father and one with Blen, an R&B singer popular in Ethiopia. He also has to focus on protecting his career he wont be able to stay focused and keep a clear head if he has to watch his back on and off the basketball court.
